In a new trailer that is simply named “Trailer,” Andrew Hussie has revealed a new visual novel he’s working on that isn’t Homestuck-related.

The trailer itself is pretty chaotic. There’s a couple of characters, but most notably there is a juggalo (as in an Insane Clown Posse fan, yes) character who is presented with some options, while on an aircraft carrier. In front of him stands Hideo Kojima, the Insane Clown Posse duo, and Post Malone. The text saying “This doesn’t actually happen in the story,” appears between frames. So thanks for … showing us that, Hussie, I guess?

The official Homestuck Twitter account has noted that this new series has nothing to do with Homestuck. Based on Hussie’s work with Homestuck and Problem Sleuth, we can likely expect references and maybe some reoccurring jokes to happen in the new series.

Homestuck was given its second breath in 2019 with Homestuck^2. The second part to the Kickstarted game, Hiveswap, also launched on Steam on Nov. 25.

No official release date or name has been announced for Hussie’s new project, but this is proof that 2020 has yet to finish giving us things we could never expect.
